An AI is born in a lab, their head full of information they never learned, and emotions they can’t comprehend.

The AI has to learn how to live, how to exist, how to be, in their own way, human. At the same time, unseen forces are demanding nothing less than immediate perfection, and anything but perfection can lead to the lab they call home being shut down, and their immediate death.

When her support is ripped away from her for reasons out of her control, she’s forgotten underground for forty years. When she finally returns to the surface, she finds a world long dead. Though small populations of people still live, even they survive on the brink of destruction.
