After finally returning to Arc City, Blue and her new companion Corax find some desperately needed time to relax. Recovering from everything that has happened won't be an easy process, but with the help of her friends, she might manage.

Of course, she’s not the only one who needs time to recover. Cassie is forced to learn and adapt to the loss of her arm, and eventual new prosthetic. Vince feels responsible for what happened. Lucas must deal with the betrayal he feels upon learning Vince’s history that was kept hidden from him. Ivy’s gunshot wound continues to be a literal thorn in her side.

Unfortunately, peace and relaxation cannot continue forever. When a spectre of the past returns, everyone is forced into the desert once again before they've recovered. Dealing with both the world and their own issues won’t be easy, but together they might just make it home.
